    Water question
How large of a water pot does a ball need? some care sheets say big enough to soak in and I have a almost 5 ft male so that makes for one hell of a big water pot. is a smaller one ok if the humidity is high enough? Thanks in advance for any help

They don't need a water bowel big enough to soak in. it is an added bonus if they can but it isn't necessary.

No it doesnt have to be big enough for them to soak. Mine all have 5" or 6" bowls. Ive never seen any of them soak in them.

    Re: Water question
I use 5 inch bowls with no problems. I know someone who uses Ice cream buckets and his snakes definitely take opportunities to soak regularly. The only challenge that I have seen with using big water bowls is too much humidity which encourages mold and other problems. If you got a big cage that won't get too humid go with the bigger bowl. As for me I like the 5".
