    1st feeding question..
i plan on feeding my baby pastel for the first time tonight.. Im planning on feeding him in a different container. my question is how long do i leave him in there after he has eaten to put him back in his cage to relax and digest..

Im worried that im going to disturb him and he regurjitates his food...

I always fed my burmese in its cage but she turned out to be super aggressive and i dont want that for my baby Ziggy... Thank you

There is no need to feed your BP in a seprate tub. Cage aggression from feeding in the enclosure is a myth. You can actually do more harm than good by feeding in a seprate location.

X2 there is no need to feed in a separate container if they will readily eat in it. Cage aggression due to feeding in it is a myth.

When I first started in the world of ball pythons I would feed in separate tubs. All this did for me was cause a lot more missed meals. I personally have had much better luck just feeding my collection in their enclosures, and haven't had any issues with cage aggression.

i feed in a separate tub to avoid bedding in the mouth that might stick to the mouse and never had a problem feeding in a separate tub

    It's all personal preference.
I feed in the enclosure with no ill effects.
A little bit of bedding won't hurt the snake. They are digesting nails and bones after all....

Some people will have a separate feeding container. I personally think it causes unnecessary stress. And as someone with more than a few snakes, feeding each one in a separate container isn't efficient at all. For someone with one or two snakes, it probably doesn't really matter though.
