    Hanging on the cool side..
So Barry was out of his hot side hide last night.. Exploring.. And I noticed he went back inside his hot hide several times...and then came back out immediatley..he then made it over to the cool side and settled inside his cool side hide.. And that's where he's been all day.. I checked his hot side hide late last night and sure enough, there was some poop in there! I cleaned it up..So I'm thinking that's why he didn't stay there..he has never hung out in his cool side hide! So will he go back to the hot side again eventually?

Temps are 90 hot side... 77-80 on the cool side..

I definately wouldn't worry about it. Mine usually spend a couple days on the hot side after feeding then mostly keep to the cool side once their meals are digested. Hell, I have a female boa who rarely if ever will go to the warm side but she if fat and healthy at 6ft+ and 15lbs. If your still really concerned I'd get a temperature gun and double check how warm your UTH is really getting.

Both my pythons and my boa spend the majority of thier time in thiers cool side hides. I wouldn`t worry ... they need to thermoregulate ... he will go back to his hot hide when he gets cold.

    Cheers,
