    Finally took the plunge!
Picked it up at Petsmart (I know, I know, but I couldn't resist any longer). As soon as it's settled in properly I'll try and pop to check gender but for now I'm going to let it settle in. Pics will come as soon as I get back to my laptop.

Congrats on your new BP but I would advise that you not try to pop your new Bp unless you really know what you are doing. Popping can injure a BP if done incorrectly and most of the time takes a few tries to get it right.

That's true. I'll probably wait. I'm not really in a hurry to figure out its gender but it would be nice to know before I name it. Also I'm impatient.

Another Snake saved from the Evil Corporate Clutches of Petsmart! Good Save you made!,

Congratz regardless of where you got it. (most likely a male anyway).

So according to the pet store it last ate on the 31st. A fuzzy mouse apparently, which seems too small to me but I still need to buy a scale so I have no idea if that's the proper size for it. Either way I kind of want it on a 5-day feeding schedule. Should I offer tomorrow or just wait until next Saturday?

Give it about 5 ish days to settle in. It won't harm your snake to wait and the extra time will allow it to de-stress.

I don't know how big your snake is, but fuzzy mouse sounds too small.
