When you black out a cage...

Does it need to be black? Or can I use a pattern or something? Does it matter? Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question. :oops:

Doesn't matter as long as you can't see through it

I use aquarium background from the petstore to black out minecause I like the look of it :P

i used a black trash bag and just taped it around but i would have gotten something else and painted my own design but it was a short notice thing, but like the first respondee said just as long as you cant see through it
