Alright, so here's my question... How come, if snakes urine is hardened, it still soils the heck out of the newspaper I use as substrate? Seriously, about an 8 inch circle around the spot that he leaves the dropping turnes a pale yellow. Is this normal? Thanks in advance...

My thoughts on the process of constriction.....
It happens with mine as well; everytime. I wouldn't worry. I think it is just because liquid will expand since newspaper is so thin compared to how much liquid is being dispersed onto it. Why it is yellow? Who knows. Why is the sky blue? It's just that way. :)

I have actually caught one of my BP's making me a present before. It doesn't always come out dry and chalky. Sometimes quite a bit of fluid is expelled with it.

Mine just did his deed 2 day's ago. Very wet and gross and approx. 4 inche's in length. I about accused one of my cat's for doing it in the snakes cage, but the cat dosent know where I keep the key to the top of the tank.

Having witnessed Monty take a crap I can say that there is definitely a LOT of liquid that comes out as well.

I can attest to the fact that a lot of liquid is expelled when they urinate - as my BP peed on my the other day.
