    Thermostat Question.
Hey, so ive been expanding my collection, and im trying to run this Hydrofarm Thermostat, with an extension cord plugged into it and plug my two other heat pads up to it ----

But the problem is, the second heat pad wont heat up? It says it can sustain 1000 watts.

I was thinking, would it make a difference if i bought this thermostat:

And try the extension cord method?

Can anyone give me some ideas/help? Thanks.

I've run 2 heat pads and a few strips of flexwatt on the hydrofarm before.
    Maybe it's your extension cord?
    Try a power strip?

I would assume the heat pads should be the same size and from the same company, if the wattage is different then the one with more wattage uses most of it leaving the smaller one not heating up. I'm not an electrical engineer though, but I would guess it would cause problems.

I have the same wattage. I think i may have solved it, i had the hydro farm connected to a power strip, i tried to see if maybe plugging it into a outlet on its own would change, and it looks like they're both working, im going to wait until the morning to see if the heat changed(i wake up at 6 am). Any thought on that?

I suggest the ve-200 instead of the ve-100 since its proportional. I have the ve-200 and love it
