I should have bought her! New England Reptile Expo question
I saw a great little Pewter female in my price range at the New England Reptile Expo in NH the other day and wasn't prepared to make a decision on the spot about it. I asked the guy at the table for the name of the company as it wasn't directly obvious to me, but I have since forgotten (damn you short term memory!). It was some kind of company type name, budget something maybe? or some similar, not like "Joe Shmoe Breeder"

Anyone who was at the show: Can you identify the seller that had one of the largest displays along the back wall in the dead center? They had nice rising display cases 4 or 5 rows high and a huge selection of BPs. I don't know if it was part of their display or not but to the right of them was the tall setup of black cages full of various turtles, monitors, and more of the uncommon species.

    OR

Anyone know of a breeder with a nice female pewter under 200g in the 3 - 500 range?

Edit: looking for a Black Pewter, not a Cinny pewter

X2 look over the vendor list. You should have pulled the trigger at the expo tho. Now the price may not be the same, and you will have to pay for shipping.

Yeah, I looked there.. Exotics Plus and Reptile Kingdom were the only things that struck as similar to me... and both don't have websites >.<

and yea, I should have pulled the trigger. I was generally weary since 2 minutes earlier I saw a man suspiciously wiping his snakes down with mite spray under the table... freaked me out and made me itchy for the rest of the day lol - at a different table than the one I saw the pewter at

There should be a regional compendium of breeders somewhere. If there is, please redirect me! It's frustrating because they're all around but nobody has websites and if they do, they're never up to date. This is the 21st century people, get on the web...

Any of you Massachusetts people or New Hampshireites care to blast of a few names of local breeders that are worth asking about a Black Pewter?

I emailed the people who sounded familiar from the vendor list and one of them was confident that it was Reptile Addicts by Fred and Jon Kick. That's definitely who it was.

2 minutes on Google and I'm reading horror stories and animal abuse court cases. Pretty pleased that I didn't impulse buy the snake and now I know why the name of the breeder was not displayed at all on their tables.

I think he said he looked them up.

It is weird how their KS ads have some of the nicest looking morph BPs, then you do a BOI search.....
