Bright lights, flashes bad for them?
Since snakes can't blink, does anyone know if it's a bad idea to use a flash when taking pictures?

Mine have never shown any problems, and especially with the pretty ones, I do take a lot of pictures... The snakes at the stores never seem to mind it either. No scientific study to back that up though, just personal observation.

Albinos are more sensitive to light for obvious reasons. But other than that, I don't think bright lights or flash should be a problem for balls. However, they are probably more comfortable in a darker setting since they're nocturnal.

I am not sure if it is BAD for them, probably not. But my BP does hate flashing and bright light like that. I once took a picture with a flash of him and he got spooked and spun around and smacked his face on the side of the enclousure. So who really knows?
