    Bi polar snakes?
    Im thinkin my females are bi polar. One day they will lay on the cool side soak even bowl wrap while inverted. The next day they are on the hot side. Im confused. Im still getting locks and I can feel what I think are small folicals but Im not sure. I started pairing in december and figured Id atleast get an ovy by now. Any one care to explain if im losing my mind or.....

    You haven't forgotten they are coldblooded animals have you?.... switching from the warm to cool side and back again is basic thermo-regulation.

    I get that. But Ive been told when they ovulate or about to they stay soley on the cool side thats why I was confused

    I always double check my temps if they are doing that. If they are gravid or building they should be fairly consistent about where they lay, but they are all different of course.
