    My new pastel is never in his hide. Always climbs on stuff and falls off in the middle of the night. Hopefully he gets over it before he rips everything off the walls.

    I had two but he won't use them. Ever since I got him he's always trying to squeeze into some weird spot. Temps come from a rhp on a herpstat so I should have everything pretty much dead on.

    He may be looking for a smaller, tighter hiding spot than what's provided. Sounds weird, but try a paper towel tube, and try crumpling up a few pieces of newspaper to see if he hangs out under them.
