    Moss in Hide
Until i get the Tub for Barry, i am stuck with the glass aquarium, and was wondering if the temps on his hot side got too hot, and he did indeed need some humidity, could he just soak in his water bowl, and then head back in his hide?..Do they do this?...On the days i work, i have to leave him for 12 + hours, and mist the cage in the morning. I also leave some moist Moss in his hide...so is this safe?..I mean, will he be able to cool himself?..I dont want him to dehydrate?..

Oh , and he fed last night!. No problems!...Day after his shed!:)

Some temps would help in order to figure out if he is to hot. But making sure he has clean fresh water helps at all time. The moss is fine but it will create high humidity with excess heat.

your temperatures are perfect, what is the humidity in the cage? and how low does it get if you don't mist it?

it's ok if it gets down to 30% as long as you return it to 40%-60% at least once a day. You can create a humidity cycle where you mist the cage until it gets really high (like 80%) then let it get down to 30-40% before misting again.
