Blue Light

just got a blue light...its still day time...darn thing looks like a black light. I figured it would be actually blue but its purple like a black light. hopefully by night time it looks blue. its purely cosmetic, just for looks. anyone using this same light?

No do you have a night heat source as well? I prefer to use infrared bulbs for heat 24/7 and use a fluorescent bulb to light my cages.
