Tadpoles?

    Tadpoles?
    SO it is now 3.5 weeks since I got my little hoggie, and she has not eaten yet, despite many scenting attempts. I have a few tadpoles (pacific tree frog I believe) that I caught in a local pond, and they are no thicker than the thickest part of her body. Do you think I should attempt to scent with them, or even try to feed them.

    Here is what I was thinking: Put her, a tadpole scented pinkie and a tadpole in a paper bag for a few hours. Good idea, or any other suggestions

    Also, any specific time of day that hognose, especially babies like to eat?
    Finally, should I feed in the dark or with lights on?

    My hogtie took a tuna scented pink the other day. Thanks anyway for everybody's help... Not:P;):D

    Maybe you would have had better luck getting an answer to your question on a Hognose forum and not a Ball Python forum...

    I would not feed anything caught in the "wild" to a Captive animal...Just not worth the risk.

    Glad she ate for you!
