Nice to meet'cha. My friend, Randy (site moderator) invited me to join.

As soon as I can figure out how to post pictures and such, I'll do so. In the meantime, you can look at some of what I have at:

Well, I look forward to learning from you.

    Take care,
Marcus and a whole lotta critters.

    Greetings
Marcus, I will set up a photo gallery for you. Go to the last page of the galleries and look for yours, then you can upload stuff, including your avatar.

Nice pictures! I assume you keep pet rats? I used to keep them when I was younger and they were the greatest! Very smart and tame... I feel kind of bad feeding them to my BPs now, but at least they're frozen. I really like the tarantulas too, I'd look into keeping some but my sister has a bad case of arachnaphobia...

    RPlank,

Thanks Randy. How do I setup a pic for the "avatar" thing? I added a pic in my folder and then went to "profiles" and went down to the bottom and entered the link to the pic but no dice. What am I missing?

    Thanks again!

    Lindsay,

Thanks. And yes, the rats are pets only. We are not going to use rats as feeders. I'm going to be using gerbils for food for my Ball Python. Our others will do fine on mice.

    Tarantulas make great pets.

You only have to feed them about every two weeks.
They don't shed all over everything.
You don't have to walk them.
    They don't smell.
    They don't make any noise.
They don't crap on the floor.
They don't puke on the couch,
They don't take up much space (unless you have as many as I do)
Your friends don't ask you to take them out of their cages to hold them

    ......hey, kinda like snakes!

    Thanks again,

    Marcus

The link you put in isn't right. Put this link into your avatar link:
    http://www.ball-pythons.net/albums/F...um/apache2.jpg
That should take care of it.

Great pictures, man! I like the "poses" your rats gave you. I had many rats growing up, and they are very smart. There was this one I named Joey, I would let him roam around the house when I got home from school. All I would have to do to find out where he was, was shake his can of treats. He came bursting through the door in no time! =) Kind of like a dog, *I* think.
Oh, and I'm new too, I like it here, one great BP site, for sure, huh?
