what should my next 2 snakes be? :D
ok im building a bookshelf style cage for my 2 bps. welllllll it just so happens that there is 2 open enclosures and nothing to put in them :o

anyway the enclosure is 36Wx24Dx12H i want this to be there permenant enclosure so i need some ideas of what i want?

something active that will use the space at hand.

not to agressive but i can work with nippy.

and not just pythons either just anything that you think is a MUST HAVE snake.

thanks for the help and im willing to answer any questions so just shootem my way!

You should get a dwarf boa, like a hog island boa. I love mine. :D

I don't know I've seen some pretty big hogs for a cage that size i would go with a Mexican boa, Honduran, Central American, Crawl Cay, Tarahumara Mountain, el Salvador boa or other smaller dwarf boa. I would probably stick with a male since its kind of a small cage and males don't get as long or thick as females. Shoot even a male pure super dwarf retic should top out at about 4' or so. There are so many choices you'll just have to do some research and figure out which one suits you lol. Good luck :)

    I would suggest Dumeril's Boas

And Carpet Pythons (Jungle or Irian Jaya subspecies Coastals would be too big)

*Carpets come in many colors/patterns not just yellow & Black

I would definitely suggest any of the dwarf locality boas. I personally like the longicauda boas they look so cool being jet black with a slight iridescence. I do have a hog island boa and love they're creamy pink/orange colors.

Its ultimately up to you. Just do your research and find one you would love to look at.

Bredli Carpet PYthon. They are so pretty, dark tail, blue tongue, beautiful big python head and pattern.

and a Dumeril's Boa, nice fat snake, and they are funny when they try to burrow under your body, when you're laying in bed.. until it tickles too much. Wow that's embarrassing.
