Anyone use Kritter's Crumble?
I've tried pretty much every type of substrate and have decided I like big bark chips best for my needs. I have been using reptibark, but Kritter's Crumble is just a little bit better deal. Just curious if any of you use and what are its pros/cons.
Thanks!

Re: Anyone use Kritter's Crumble?
I switched from aspen bedding to this. It definitely keeps humidity better than aspen. Every other day I must the center area of the tank while mixing up the bedding in this area. That way it is moist throughout the area. I also mist the moss I have in two of the corners. This keeps the humidity at about 55% with an ambient temperature in the low 80s. Sometimes my snake will burrow in the.deeper area. I have never heard anything regarding this substrate and respiratory infections.

I've only been using it for about two weeks. No problems so far. When I feed him a live mouse, I place a strip of cardboard down in his enclosure over the substrate when he eats. I can hold the mouse by the tail until the snake gets to the area, then I let go of the mouse. He usually strikes right away. After he eats and moves to his hide, I remove the cardboard. He's never eaten the substrate, so I can't comment on accidental ingestion.
