    First Snake
I went to Repticon in Tampa this weekend looking for a ball python. Didn't really find anything I liked but did see some Kenyan sand Boas I liked. I have done my research on both BPs and Ksbs and when I saw this one I knew I wanted him. So here he is. My first snake.

Thank you. He is pretty awesome. I just have one question I have a small water dish in his tank. It isn't very wide but it is a little tall, will he have a problem getting to it or no?! He is about 10-12 inches.

Probably not, the water dish should be ok.

Ok thank you. He has spent most of his time laying deep in his aspen. Haven't really seen him come out much. Then again it's only his second day in the tank. I put him in front of the water bowl and he stuck his head all the way to the bottom of the water dish and stood there for a little. Just want to make sure he doesn't get dehydrated.

Awesome! KSB's are really fun but they are also very shy and sleep in their substrate. As a friendly word of advice make sure to give him space and time to get acclimated to his new home. It's very easy to worry because you won't see him much at first but stay patient and you will have a happier snake because of it. Congratulations!
