Hi, we just bought a beautiful Ball (Royal) Python. She's about 14-15 inches in length, and at her widest diameter about the size of a regular hotdog (weiner)...given these measurements, does anyone have a guesstimate of her age? Thanks!

Probably a couple of months, three months, max, given a normal feeding and growth rate.

Welcome Mousepotato! Glad to see another ohioan. Glad to hear about your new bp, she is young, did the pet shop give you any idea how old she is, or were they not sure?

I work in a pet store in Ontario, and we are pretty good about telling our customers the approx. ages of thier newly aquired pet, surprised they did not tell you.

Thanks everyone for your replies. Judging from what you all said, I'm gonna go with 2 months. I also want to get her vet-checked very soon, as I'm not real happy with the lack of info I received from the store. : (
Just my luck, a bunch of 'rookies' working the day I bought her!
