    Fast digestion
Is it a bad thing that my BP digests very fast and seems to be always hungry? She is about 320g and I feed her weened rats. After eating it she will be cruising around after a few hours and is perfectly find being handled. If I offer food every 3 days she would be eating it no problem.

I'm assuming the logical answer is to feed her more often or to move up a size rat but I wanted to see if there was another possible reason.

I don't know if this matters at all but the tank temp pretty much goes from 71f-77f depending on how warm it is outside. The UTH temp stays at 89f. I haven't noticed a single problem from this and she will switch between the hide with the UTH and the hide without is regularly.

Sounds like you might be better off feeding her closer to 15% of her body weight instead of 10%. She's not too far away from being big enough for small rats in the 40-50 gram range.

Good thing I bought a bag of smalls with the weended. Guess I'll feed her more frequently till I'm done with the weened and move on to small.
