    Uth heat question
So I have an animal plastics t8. It has a devider in the middle with an 11" flexwatt. This means it has about 5 inches of heat tape on each side. I am using a herpstat to make sure that the heat tape stays at 90 degrees. The room temp is about 70 and will get about 5 degrees warmer over the summer. Will I need a way to raise the air temp or will this set up be okay for the two BPs?

Do you have a thermometer in the cage that is telling you what the hot/cool side temperatures are?

Yes the probes are under the news paper and are on the cold side and above the heat pad. Mid 70s on the cool side and 90 over heat tape.

ok, it is ideal to keep the cool side between 78-82 degrees, but as long it doesn't drop too much below 75 most of the time you should be fine.

Okay I have a heat panel on one side with a her stat dual zone. I'll have to get another herpstat single for the other side and another heat panel.
