How long does it take for an RI to show up in your snakes?

My new snakes were transported with another snake that has an RI           . I'm pretty ticked about this one...

Quarantine is a no-brainer, so obviously, I'm quarantining anyway. I'm just wondering how long it would take to show up, if any of my snakes caught it, too.

How contagious are RIs? Does it take direct contact for them to pass? Or is it airborne?

    Thanks in advance!

Well it will defiantly show up in the standard 90 day quarantine, I'm not sure on the rest. I would guess that it depends on the snakes involved and their immune systems/overall health.

I am almost 100% sure that RI's can be caught by direct contact or airborne. As far as when it will show, it could take time. I would just keep a very close eye on them for the next two weeks, or even better, quarantine them so if they did catch it it does not pass to any of your other reptiles.

Also, how did the snake with an RI come to be in contact with yours?

RI's can be hidden for months thats the problem is snakes are so good at hiding them its very hard to tell. I would definately keep an eye on your snake but dont treat it any differently then your others or you might stress it out and then it will show. make sure you still keep it quarantined though.
