Hi all,
I thought I would share a funny story.
A long long time ago, we (my family and rescue) lived in an apartment complex you know side by side (If yuppies lived there, they would be called condos..lol) anyhow we had this beautiful Jungle Capet Python that was the biggest escape artist. Well by the second time she liberated herself she was no where to be found.
And we searched for hours, hours turned into days, days turned into weeks, you get the point.
One lovely afternoon about a month and a half after her escape day, I start to hear screaming.
"Rusty Rusty!! Get your a** out hear." Now this is from the shrill voice of my lovely neighbor who screams like this when she sees worms and toads. I crawl out of the enclosure I'm cleaning to go outside to see what all the fuss is about. And low and befold there's our beautiful medium sized carpet python scaling the brick exterior wall. By the time I ran inside to get my snake hook and up the stairs of my neighbors apartment, and as I'm hanging myself out her master bedroom window, this carpet decides to find a drain pipe above the light fixture. so we struggle, but in the end she gives up and comes back home with me.
She did eat a few sparriows while she was out..lol
She is doing quite well now. Eats like a pig and is soon to move up to the Lg Carpet enclosure my husband built.
does anyone elso have carpet pythons in the group?
