Building is the act of growing follicles and during this time they tend to spend 75+ percent of the time on the cold side of the enclosure, wrap water bowls, lay up on their side, etc.
I don't see anything in the picture that shows building, but that's not unusual, they build for quite awhile before anything shows.

I thought about the water bowl wrapping and she seems to stay near it all the time now when she never has from the time i acquired her,she has a hide near the warm end and she never uses it anymore.Never seen her physically wrap the water bowl just hangs near it all the time now, never goes on the warm side.
Also she has being lockin with my male ghost since december, but now no longer tolorates him in her enclosure(nothing aggressive but pushes him in the corner).First attempt at breeding so just trying to get the hang of what to look for when they ovulate, build and become gravid(for future reference).
She also seems to have gotten really heavy when i pick her up to clean her tube, she was a rescue so i am not sure if she is just gaining weight from good care or if it is something else.
The person i rescued her from was feeding her 2 mice a week(claim she was 4 years old)i feed her a small rat every 5 days and for the last 2 months she was eating a small rat every 4 days,(but hasnt eaten in three weeks but seems to be getting heavier).
but thanks for the info, just trying to learn what to look for.

One way the female cools herself...laying up sideways

    another way...bowl wrapping

Both are signs of building aka growing follicles

most of my females tend to lay like the first pic(even a few juvies)i have 2 yearlings that lay like that all the time since they were small,so i never paid that any mind.

While I have seen even young hatchlings lay up on their sides it's not something they continually do.
Breeding females will do this quite often during the cooling/building stage.

Bowl wrapping, sitting on top of the water bowls, dipping parts of their body or even their whole bodies in the water and laying inverted are what they do to stay cool while growing follicles.

Just keep pairing the male with her until you see an ovulation, then stop pairing, stop feeding the female and wait for the pre-lay shed then eggies :gj:

    Good luck!
