What stage is my female at?
I have a female mojave that i have been pairing with my lesser male and my pastel male since november. i went away and left my mom to do some of the pairings and just got back and noticed my mojave in shed. She shed before that on january 30. Im just wondering if this could be here pre lay shed. My mom has no clue if she had ovulation. She has put on 50+ grams and is noticeably thicker.

It's very hard to say. Do you have pictures ? Is she glowing ? Hugging the heat ? Does she lay mostly in a perfect coil ?

There are many signs to look for.

She's been laying in a perfect coil head and tail in the center. since I've been home, hasn't eaten in 20 days and has been on the hot spot. Was laying inverted prior to going into shed.

It's hard to say, it could be her pre-ov shed. Is she still breeding? I have one female that lays on the heat coiled up almost perfectly for majority of the breeding season and if she goes this year, which I think she will, this will be her 3rd year laying in a row. You can't assume that just because they are coiled up on the hot side that they will for sure lay. My girls usually put on 200-300 grams even when they aren't eating.
