Welcome! Here's a little tip for you. If the cuss censor bleeps out your words, you might want to choose different words before one of the Mods sees your post. No cussing on this Fourm. It's just how we roll around here.

The cuss sensor censors it, but the Mods can still see what was written and can ding you for the language. If you type something that the cuss sensor censors, you can hit the edit button within 10 mins and change the wording.

Actually we can't see what was written - all we know is it was one of the words on the censored list or someone manually spelled it out using censor smilies.

This is why we tell people not to use the censor smilies to do that - we have to treat it as if the word was written as there is no way to tell the difference.

It takes people time to understand how much the language filters are enforced here as part of the child friendly policy so we have the initial zero point warnings to try and ease people into it. :)

That's why we also issue them for people who change the spelling to avoid getting censored while leaving their meaning clear.

Glad you decided to make BP.net home! What other sub categories do you wish that we had?

I never knew that. Thank you for the clarification. Guess I won't be using the censor smiles anymore, as I have been known to do that for shock value from time to time.

If you use one censor smily you're fine - two even at a push. But as soon as you hit three...... :fishslap:
