reptile super show worth going to??
I live in southern california and there is a reptile super show coming to san diego at the end of june and i was wondering if it was worth going to? I've never been to one of these and usually buy my snakes online. I know they advertise "HUGE SALE" and "Blowout" but is that true? You also have to pay $12 at this particular event to get in.. its also an hour drive away from where i live so i was wondering if it's worth going to, thanks!

here is the link to the event if it helps.

Well, if it's anything like Pomona or Anaheim, it is definitely worth going to.

There are all kinds of amazing animals to look at and negotiating purchases face to face with the seller has always been beneficial in my personal experience. :)

I regulary pay $12 to see a movie that I may or may not like. I've never been to a reptile show that I didn't like. I'd say that's a pretty safe bet for your $12.

I always go to the one in Pomona and also am debating to go to this one. But I think im gunna fork out the drive and make it down. Seems well worth it.

If you have never been to a show then definitely go. There are tons of vendors. Even if you don't buy anything its cool to see all the different animals.

I go every year. It's about an hour and 20 minutes from me but definitely worth going. Like someone else said 12 plus gas is nothing considering in SoCal we don't have mass amounts of shows each year and we only get 2 others to choose from. If you are into reptiles; which if your on this forum I will assume you are lol, you will like the show. Plus meeting local breeders is always a plus and striking up new friendships are fantastic especially with people who share your interest. Nike said it best "Just Do It".

It's a good show. I go often, although that early in the season, I don't vend.

It's always fun to see what is happening and the new stuff out there.

It gets crowded, and the venue itself is rather small compared to other SoCal shows, but it is a good time.

Definitely come down to the shows!

There's tons, and I mean tons, of people there, and always new and exciting reptiles to check out. The SD show is getting to the point where it rivals Anaheim for size!

If you want to see tons of ball python eye candy, go to a show. There's something indescribable about seeing them all in person compared to online, and then you also have the opportunity to meet and talk to people that normally you'd never see in person.
