    Feeding Eastern Hognoses Pinkies
So I have a hatchling eastern, Kaiya, that Ive switched over to pinkies. I was recently talking to someone and they told me feeding easterns rodents for their whole lives can cause health effects later on. I hadnt heard this before and was wondering if you guys knew anything about this. Its that why you dont see a lot of easterns on pinkies? I really dont want to have to start feeding her toads

Only issue I've heard of people encountering by switching them to rodents is obescity. Most of the time people don't switch Eastern's over because they are a lot harder to get on a rodent diet than Westerns. My Eastern would never even think about touching a pinky or mouse or rat. She woulld only go after tree frogs and Coastal Toads. No matter how much scenting was done. . . . If you're guy eats mice it should not be an issue as long as you limit the amount of intake, and dont attempt to power feed him into a larger size.

    Good luck
