    Meet Gimpy!
The little guy (or gal) was up for adoption at my local Petco. He was born with its front right foot deformed. I taped cardboard over the 10 gallon he's in to try and help him feel a little more secure, I haven't had a leo this small since I tried to rescue an albino that was severely malnourished a while ago who didn't last but 3 or 4 days (though this little one is fat and happy!) It's quite the change since I got my other leo when he was an adult (and a whopping 10 inches long!)

I can never tell what morph (if any) they are when they are this young, though it doesn't matter since (s)he will never be bred.

And pardon the dog hair on my sheets

I'm not quite sure that it was born deformed, as much as it wasn't supplemented right and developed MBD. Though, MBD is reversible to a point!

I was told he hatched out that way, it's turned in towards his body and besides that there is nothing wrong with him. So I'm not sure if it was a genetic defect or if it was MBD but I have a little cap of calcium in his cage with everything else he needs.

Decided to see if he'd eat for me tonight. He is a little piggy! I'm going to love watching him grow.

So I have to ask, is he a normal?

Thanks :) I hope he turns out as clean as his "Big" brother.

He's taken to sitting on top of his hides at night and watching the rats and me : Silly little thing
