    New BP hasn't shed yet
This is my first BP ever and I have had him for about 2 months now but he has not shed yet. It looked like he was going to shed at one point (eyes turned blueish and it looked like he had a stuck cap but that has recently went away)

Cage: I have him in a glass tank with an UTH and a inferred 75 watt heat lamp. For the first three weeks his humidity was horrible (30%). In the last month of so I have gotten his humidity on average to be around 45-55% sometimes higher if I just mist. I did this buy putting a towel and foil on the lid and switching over to a combination of aspen/coconut/moss substrate. The hot side is 90-95 the cool side is 75-85 (sometimes dropping to 70 or high 60s if its a cold night)

Feeding: I been feeding him every 4-5 days and he hasn't missed a single meal. I do think I was feeding him too small of a meal at first pinkie rats but have switched over to medium mice. Is it possible that I was just not feeding him big enough food and therefore was not growing and would explain the lack of sheding?

Sorry for the long post. I just wanted to get all the information out there.

When did his eyes turn blueish and when did they go away? It's possible he's just about to shed.

2 months without a shed is not horrible - it sounds like everything in your husbandry is acceptable.

They turned blueish maybe between 1-2 weeks ago but it was very light I wasn't even sure

I wouldn't be too worried, how old is your BP?

And just to make sure I cover the bases does your UTH have a thermostat?

I'm not too worried, I mean everything else seems fine. He gets a little stressed when I handle him. I got him from BHB he was listed as 2011. As for one for the UTH, I'm one of the good newbies I did my research before (so yes its on a thermostat) :)

I was feeding him too small of food before due to just poor size judgement, do you think that would cause a decrease in shed.

That could be the cause. most will shed every 4-8 weeks at that age but if they don't it doesn't mean that anything is wrong
