    Python therapy?
Does any one else find taking care of BP's relaxing? I know I do, I'll come home from work have dinner with my wife and kids. Then I can go to my "man cave" and change out waters, spot clean, and handle my animals. When I'm done I feel completely refreshed. I know to the average non reptile keeping person cleaning poop and pee doesn't sound therapeutic. But some of you must feel the same way right?

I do! I can get stressed out because of work or whatever and when I am around my snakes they reduce my stress too! Maybe because they are mostly calm and laid back too? Whatever it is I know what you mean.

Definitely :) I don't have a man cave...or a snake room...just me and Pretzel and a 21 year olds bedroom for now. But putting on some tunes, then cleaning out Pretzels viv, or just chilling on my bed handling her is soooo relaxing. She calms me down, gives me something to focus on, and inspires me to draw and design as well :)

And cleaning out her poop makes me happy. At least she IS pooping hehe :) Relaxes me and gives me a sense of pride :)

Taking care of my snakes is most defitnitely therapy for me. I have severe anxiety issues and my snakes totally help with this. I love when it comes time to handle them. I find that to be the most relaxing part of keeping snakes.

An average day for me moves along pretty fast, even when I don't want it to. Taking care of and hanging out with a BP or two forces me to slow down a little, which in turn helps me relax.

Yes it does. I cant wait until i can get a house and setup a room, aka mancave, full of snakes. Right now i only have 2, soon to be 3 on wednesday, bps so the cleaning takes like only 10 minutes lol.

I find it very theraputic to the point I asked my tax guy if I could use it as a dudection he said no but I figured it was worth a try. I find taking care of the snakes very relaxing even when they dont eat. But I also enjoy making enclosures and equipment just as relaxing as the snakes themselves :)

I could be having the worst day ever but when I get home and get to clean tubs, change water, feed, or just handle my bp's, it all goes away and I am in my little relaxing world lol. Definitely therapeutic :D

I love coming home and checking on everyone.. cleaning, changing water, and sitting on the couch with my lap Dumeril. It always brightens my day.
