Another Incubator Question

Have any of you guys have success with substrateless incubation? I've seen a lot of vids of how to set it up but I'd like to know that it works before I go through with it

Yes. In my opinion everyone should be doing substrateless. It's so easy and it takes one more mistake out of the equation. You don't have to worry about your eggs getting too wet or too dry, the substrateless method takes care of all that. You also don't have to use the press n' seal on the tub, there will be more than enough humidity if you go substrateless. I will never go back to putting the eggs in the substrate, that's how I lost my first clutch.

There really isn't a lot to explain about going substrateless. Just a few basic things you'll need: tub, light diffuser, perlite/verm/hatchrite, water, and that's it. Make sure the perlite or the verm does not have any fertilizer in it, it will kill your snakes because they will drink the water around the perlite/verm.
