    ok i have a pastel that i think is a female i poped her and by the looks of it she looks like she had scent glans but when i probe her it goes really far back compared to my other female.i know some female do go farther back and some dont at all so if you could would you help me out at other ways i can tell what her sex is

    How experienced are you with probing? I wouldnt be probing if you dont know what your doing, you can injure your snake. I seen another post of yours where one of your snakes had some bruising/discoloration around the vent from sexing. Sounds like your having alot of issues with your snakes, just relax and enjoy them and stop messing with them all the time, you and your snakes will be much less stressed and happy. Just some food for thought.

    Take her to someone who has experience sexing snakes (ie a breeder in your area or a qualified herp vet).

    If you did probe correctly and it went 6-7 scales its a male. You may have just not fully popped the hemipenes out. But like others have said, if you aren't experienced with probing have someone teach you the proper way to do it. GL!
