Noobie, Need Help Planning Rack with Herpstat4 with flexwatt.
I need to figure out how I should run my Herpstat4 to each of these racks. I currently have two melamine racks of five 28qt Sterilite tubs. I plan on stacking them and making a rack system of consisting of four columns each with ten tubs for a total of forty tubs. My main question is should I snake the flexwatt from top to bottom on each column or should I break it up with two lines of five each. Im hoping to get'er done with one Herpstat4. I'm using 3 inch 10watt flexwatt.

    I used these plans.

I will post pics as soon as I figure out how.

To post pictures upload them to photo bucket, then copy the "IMG" code and paste it into a post here on BP.net.

I would snake the flexwatt from top to bottom, then (depending on hope many channels you want to use on your Herpstat 4) divide them into sections. If you plan on using all 4 for this I would use 1 channel per column.

Thanks. I was planning on going that route. Do you have any experience on what my temperature fluctuations will be on a run that long? Thanks again and I was able to post the pics.

The temperature variation of the flexwatt itself shouldn't be all that much, nothing to worry about at least.

The top of the rack will be warmer than the bottom of the rack sinply because heat rises but it usually isn't more than a few degrees.

I aim for 90 in the middle shelf that way the bottom shouldn't be below 88 and the top shouldn't be above 92.

Mess around with the Herpstat, see what works for you what Works for me might not work for you but it is a good starting place.
