    Ivory - Leucistic?
I've asked around but haven't really been able to find the answer. Can somebody tell me whether an Ivory is another leucistic animal, similar to super mojaves, with a head stamp/faint stripe on the back? Reading definitions of leucism, it looks like leucism is a reduction in pigment production and does not require a full lack of pigment (as in a lesser/lesser or lesser/mojave)... so are Ivories just another form of leucistic ball python?

Here's an article I found a while back that is fairly interesting on understanding reptile color terminology. According to the author, leucism requires a complete lack of pigment. Of course, he also disagrees with the current usage of albinism.

I'm not sure how factual everything is but it's worth reading once. The author claims to be a herpetologist but he certainly has an axe to grind and his tone kind of turned me off, correct info or not.
