    Reduced Pattern vs Regular Normal
Not sure if I'm posting this in the right section, but would there be a difference when breeding to a reduced pattern normal than a regular normal? Would that make any difference to the offspring?

    Thanks,
    Papo

Yes and no lol. It depends on if the reduced pattern is genetic. If it is then yes some of the babies will be reduced. If the reduced was just a random pattern that came out then all of the babies will be regular. The only way to know is to breed and see.

Every animal contributes to the outcome of the offspring.

Some people prefer reduced patterns (I am one) and others prefer more busy patterned.

Choosing your normals are just as important in your pairings as your morphs. Put a pastel to a dark normal, you're more likely to get lower grade pastels than those you'd produce pairing that same pastel to a very light and bright normal.

To me every Normal is beautiful in its own way, but I'm a big fan of reduced patterns.

Thanks for the replies folks. Hopefully my big girl(Sumatra) passes on her reduced pattern traits onto her offspring. :gj:
