    Rosehair
My good friend asked me if I wanted a free rosehair last week. He knew a girl who apparently had two, and one "got sick and died" and they wanted to get rid of their other one. She is currently quarantined away from the rest of my animals. I'm guessing female, because I've heard females carapaces are not as vivid as males, and she's rather dull. I am also suspecting premolt, as my friend said she hasn't been eating, and she has the classic abdomen spot and indent in her carapace. I haven't handled her due to the suspected molt, but she seems docile enough :)

You can not sex those Tarantulas by colour. I hope you have good luck with it I dont like rose hairs ... to moody and when they get older they turn into pet rocks. But I see you have some tarantulas already so I am not gunna go to far into depth on rose hairs and sex if you dont want me to :P

Good luck with it, I my self wouldnt try handling it. Again they have mood swings and with turn mean in a split.

    Have a good one,

She's cute! But I agree with above, you can't really sex by colors, especially since rosies have known color mutations (red, pink and common), but that being said it looks kinda girly to me from the carapace size compared to the rest of it. Glad to hear she's with you, in a good home with an awesome tarantula mommy :)
