    Quick question about shed
My BP is in shed. All temps are correct and humidity is always above 70% for the shed cycle and nevr goes above 74%. My question is can I mist him when I mist the cage or just leave him alone in his hide?

You can mist him, Wont hurt him. as long as you dont let it get cold in the cage.

You can mist him, he likely won't be happy about it, and it doesn't help with the shedding process... But it won't hurt either.

I must my cages and if possible try not to directly mist the BP but I don't go out of my way to not.

Spyderco, if your humidity is always above 70%, I see no reason to mist your snake at all. At best it won't help the shed, and at worst it could tick him off and stress him.

Normally I say can't hurt, and might help, but in this case I would say can't help, and might P/O your snake.

x2 Why would you removing his hiding spot just to spray him with water? I know I wouldn't respond positively. I have some that get sprayed, but that's just because they sprawl out across the tub and there's no way to miss them completely. Humidity is about moisture in the air, not wet surfaces/scales.

No need to mist him. If your tank is at 70 you are good. Just leave him be. They can be pissy enough when they shed without you messing with him more.

The only time I mist when they're shedding is to attempt to re-wet the sphagnum moss in the moist hide if it gets a little crispy.
