Post pics of you Oldest snake
I just read on here "plenty" of ball pythons have been kept alive for 30 years on a diet of mice. I read they could live 25 years in a Ball python book. So I want to see pics of the Oldest ball python you own/ have owned.

Look forward to a great thread

My oldest snake is a 14(ish) year-old Corn, but all of my Ball Pythons are still fairly young. I think my girls Mona & Nerissa are basically the same age, since I got them as full-grown adults almost 3 years ago... so I'm guessing they're both around 6 years old now? Not too impressive, but here are some recent shots of them:

Nerissa (while gravid last fall) - note she has some scarring on her nose, and also her tail, from a shipping mishap. Doesn't seem to bother her, though!

P.S. I'd be happy to post photos of my old corn too, but I think that would be against the rules. ;)

I recently obtained an old male that I was told is 22+ years old. I have no proof of course, but the story goes that the woman owned the snake about 3 years before they were married. They just recently celebrated thier 19th wedding anniversary! I have no reason to not beleive it! He has not been kept in the best conditions the last 3 years because the owners had a lack of interest. He has had 5 meals with me and I can no longer feel his ribs and his spine isnt showing anymore. I had absolutely no interest in another male normal, but I couldnt say no! I'll post a pic when I get home.

This almost 4000 gram female came from a local who told me it came from the University of Oregon and was there over 10 years.
She's got a HUGE head on her and is more head shy than most hatchlings :(
    She thinks she's being slick...

This guy was imported back in 1994. So he is atleast 18 years old, I am pretty sure he was atleast a few years old when he was imported. Personaly I think he is over 20 years.
