First T!

So I went to Columbia Repticon yesterday for my birthday looking for an A. versicolor or a gbb. They didn't have any versi that I saw and the gbb were 1/2" slings so I ended up with this little critter. An A. avic!

Starting with this pic and scrolling left you'll see my terrible photo skills and all the pics of the T I took. Scroll to the right as well if you wish, no spiders but there are snakes chickens dogs Christmas geckos and even one of me about 4-5 years ago.

Congrats on the new little buddy! I doubt this will be your last T, they're really addictive ;) and kind of looks girly to me from the ventral shot, but I'm not the best at ventral sexing so I'd wait for maybe Boanerges to take a look at it.

Chris, I was there also. It was a pretty good show I thought and I picked up a new RBI, 4 tub rack they were selling there. It was definately more packed than I remember the others being.

Yes it was super packed (so packed my girlfriend said she isn't going back, she hates crowds), I talked to a friend of mine who was vending the show and said it seemed that almost all the people were just lookers, whereas fewer people have come to past shows but more buyers. All in all it seemed to be a very good show considering how early in the breeding season it is. Would of liked to see a larger selection of babies but guess I just have to wait until next show.

Yea, I can see that. I took my daughters BP in to get sexed and could kind of tell there were a lot of lookers also because I had a lot of people asked to "pet" my BP. That didn't happen the other times I went.

I think it may have been because the local radio station was advertising the show.

Avic. Avic Nice grab! I love their colours. Cant get enough of A. Metallica's either. Prob will have to wait on a molt to sex it. Just so much easier that way then guessing from pictures of it.
