Tub Sizes?

I'm looking into building a snake rack because I am enjoying my ball pythons a lot to where i would love to have more, but I can't stand having aquariums all over my room because they are space consuming. I have researched many different size tubs that are recommended by breeders, but they just seem too small and cramped to me. What are good size tubs for baby, yearling, and adult ball pythons that will not be humongous but my pets will be perfectly comfortable living in it?

for hatchlings though small adults you can use 28 quart, and for large adults you can use 41 quart

Thank you! I just got a big normal female and plan to put her in a tub so that helped me out a lot. Now to find a 41 quart tub :)

Okay, I just wanted to double check because i have heard similar sizes but just wasn't sure if they were too small. Thank you:)

This is my tub size list:
6 qt - hatchling
15 qt - under 500 g
28/32 qt - juv/adult
41 qt - big females

You can use the 28/32 qt for babies as long as you have hides and stuff to keep cramped (I.e. balled up newspaper or paper towels). They don't like open spaces.

Babies do great in 6qt-15qt, juveniles 15-28qt and adults 32(males)-41qt(females).
I know these are the same sizes that are recommended, but there are reasons for it and it isn't just space. The animals feel more comfortable in the tighter space and husbandry is alot easier to maintain in them.
If you don't want to use tubs you could check out something like the Animal Plastics T-8's. They will give your snakes more space and they are stackable so they don't take up as much space as aquariums do. They also are made for reptiles so they will hold temps and humidity better.

If you plan on building a rack, I recommend IRIS brand tubs. They never change their tub styles so the bins are easy to replace. Sterilite and Rubbermaid brands change their styles all the time so its almost impossible to replace the tubs in the future (unless you buy spares now).

Lots of racks go to waste because people can't find tub replacements.

i never even thought of the tub styles changing! i'm looking at the vision tubs and was curious, is there is certain height they should be? for example, the hatchling tubs v-18 is only 3.5 inches tall. would the babies get overheated quickly?

what are you planning on using to heat the tubs? the only good way to heat tubs is under tank heaters and they don't affect the air temperature so tub height is irrelevant. remember that most vision tubs don't have lids as they are designed for racks.
