Dude mite off isnt hard to find. Check ur local pet store and if they dont have it look on the net and have it shipped to your home. And fyi bleach is toxic so dont use it on anything u have living things near.

Change your substrate to paper towels.
And when bathing your snake, add a drop or two of Dawn dish soap.
Take all enclosure accesories out and give them a good wash.

You can use other mite products until your PAM arrives. But I've never had success with them personally.

Fipronil spray is safer then Pam for your snake, works longer but very expensive.

I just had mites that I got rid of and the method I used and it worked amazing is 2 fold. First bathe your snakes in warm water with a drop of dawn dish soap. Leave them in there and while they are soaking clean their tank/tub. Soak the tub with hot water and some dawn. This first part gets most of them. The second part is to go to a pharmacy and get some NIX head lice cream. It comes in a box and the bottle is about 10 bux. Mix this cream with 4 liters ( or one gallon for the US folks) of distilled water. NIX has the same active ingredient as PAM for killing the mites AND their eggs. Most only attack the mites themselves. You will have to shake the NIX/water solution for a while cause the NIX is very thick. When it's evenly mixed then put some in a spray bottle and mist it into the tub/tank, on the outside of the tub/tank and on the shelf and floor around the tub/tank. Take your snake out of the water and dry him/her off. Next place the snake back in the tub and spray the snake all over. This is one of the advantages of this method. You can spray on the snake and you dont need to wait for it to dry. I did this a couple of weeks ago and has 4 infested snakes and all the mites are gone. Do this process as many times as it takes but it shouldn't take to many. This method I cheaper and safer for your snakes than PAM. Also NIX is easier to get. Like I said, this worked for me and I have read a lot of posts and it has worked for many others. Hope this helped and good luck fighting those buggers.

X2, just stay on top of it until the PAM comes in. All you can do is give the snake some relief for now.

Where did you get the information that this was safe on reptiles? I haven't been able to find any.

this is the stuff that my vet told me to use, it is very safe and you can use it on the snake but dilute it 50/50 and apply with a cotton ball. Just goggle Frontline spray and you'll be able to purchase it. Plus you can treat your dogs and cats too.
