I did it again... new crestie
I can't help myself when I see a pretty crestie. In an effort to raise money my local herp society held an auction tonight. I don't really need another male, but I couldn't pass this guy up. :D

Did you see him fired up? I'd be interested in seeing what color he turns. Man, he has a big ol' head, he is definitely crowned. How was the auction? I've never been to something like that. It's pretty cool that Madison holds things like that, I miss that town (just not the snow).

    Thank you. :)

He's got awesome spots in red, black and tan. He's very cool. :)

He's at least partially fired up in those photos. He's really light this morning and I just love his head structure. :D

With the auctions people brought in various things to auction off. I brought in 3 custom crested gecko tubs I made and 2 copies of Herpers II. Then during the meeting our Herp Society President hosted the auction. It worked like a typical auction on some things like the gecko I won and other things he just sold them. I ended up with 500 plastic feeder cups for my cresties for only $10.

The herp society is a only a little over a year old now, but we have a pretty solid group of regulars who show up to meetings and we get some nice guest speakers in. Last night we had someone from the DNR come in and talk about his work with rattlesnake conservation.

Anyways, here are some pictures from this morning of my new boy. :D

Sounds like a good time! I really like his creamy colors and fringing when he's fired down, great head structure all around! That's very cool that you brought in some stuff to auction off. :gj:
