Shock from flexwatt

Hey people, I'm new to this site and just starting to get into BP's. I've been reading a lot of very good info on this site, you guys are great! Anyways after seeing all the home made racks I made one today and now that it's all set up and everything as I was feeling the flexwatt I can feel a very slight current if I'm touching both sides of the foil tape. Anyone else experience this or know what's going on. Any info is appreciated.

I should also say that I taped the ends with electrical tape and then taped the foil tape along the edges to hold down the flexwatt like what I've seen on many of the DIY.

Is there any scratch in the plastic above the flexwatt metal strips? I've shocked myself that way when I was testing my connections.

No that is not something you should have some where you have foil contacting live power. I would shut it down fast as that can lead to all kinds of trouble. Somewhere you have a bare metal and foil contacting it. It could be the cut ends or damage to the plastic of the flexwatt. Either way you need to find it and apply proper insulation to that.

On a side note as you are in Canada if you are planning on setting up a business you need to have an eletrician inspect it as per Canadian law if that is your plan this might be a good moment to do so.

I checked everything and its all good. I don't feel anything if I put my hand over it no shock at all, it's when I put my forearm over I feel this tiny little bit. Someone should try on their rack to confirm this. I'm pretty sure everything is good.
