It all depends on what you like, a multigene or designer morph will produce more than 1 type of morph, but will cost more. A regular morph or base morph will produce normals and whatever morph it is.

Here is the list, I would stay away from recessive genes for now.

Two of my favorite 2 gene morphs are pewters and BEL's. Cinnamons and pinstripes are nice single gene morphs.

Wow! What a beautiful girl! One of the best normals I've seen to date!
With that blushing, she'll produce lovely Black Pastels and cinnys.

So I second Pewters/Black Pewters. They're within your price range as well.
BELs are in the 1ks, so you're better looking at pastelxBEL complex gene or single BEL gene.

This is true, i missed the part about the price range. Cinnys/ black pastels would both be a good choice

Go all in. Grab a soul sucker for 25 grand do it right lol no but seriouslly for that kind of money id go with either the pewter stuff or a bee. With a bee you will be able to produce base morphs you can holdback that will hekp you in the future

Depending on the kind of bee, it will offer spiders, normals, and whatever else is in the bee.

Bumble Bee x normal = Pastel, Spider, normal
Lesser Bee x normal = Lesser, Spider, normal
Fire Bee x normal = Fire Spider, normal
Queen Bee x normal = Pastel, Lesser Spider, normal
    Etc etc.

    But no pins.
