Rainbow boa stomach problem

Hey guys I'm babysitting this rainbow boa for my friend because he couldnt get it to eat (and it hasn't been kept in the greatest conditions). I also gave it better conditions and got it eating every 7 days without refusing a meal. I know the bulge could be a mouse but I'm nervous because it has yet to poop and it's stomach has orangey yellow stuff all over the bottom. Does anyone have any idea what this could be? I am gonna tell him he needs to take it to the vet soon if you guys think it's serious.

When is the last time he ate? What kind of substrate are you using? What are the temps and humidity in the enclosure?

He ate a fuzzy 4 days ago, he is on Reptibark, temp: 83 belly heat, 76-78 ambient. Humidity: 70%

Also I am freaking out because I have a ball python and I am in a dorm room so they are in fairly close quarters. I don't know much about IBD or Crypto but is there any chance that it is either of these? I have been sanitizing everything like crazy and trying to keep them super far apart.

My first thought is that it could be impaction. Repti-bark is very bad for a snake (especially a juvenile) if it is ingested. You might want to take him to a vet and get an x-ray. Also, I would recommend switching from repti-bark to something that can be passed if swallowed (like eco-earth) or just use paper towels.

That does not look like a food bulge. Where is it on the body of the snake? Middle 1/3, bottom 1/3rd?

I agree that doesn't look like a food bulge... especially from 4 days ago. I would seek a vet. Hope things work out.

That doesn't look good at all, something is most definitely wrong inside as well as the outside, I've never seen something like the orange stuff on it's belly. Could it be scale rot?

Is the orangey-yellow stuff goopey, as in, can it be wiped off?

It looks a bit like the early yellow discharge from Scale Rot. BRBs metabolism isn't quite as fast as BPs, so it may be a food bulge... but that's a bit large.
