4 months old Sputters

These are the sputters from my butter and bumble bee pairing last year. They hatched end of october 2011.
this is the pciture when they hatched. No queen bee though :(

By the way, I notice, their colour is very different. The female has much lighter pattern, and more yellow, where as the male has much darker pattern, is it common to have such variation in colour from one clutch?

Are sputters also butterbees? Never heard sputters before.

I would assume so...?
Spider + Butter= Sputter=butterbee=lesserbee

Very pretty ButterBees!! That's a nice pairing.

I guess he calls them sputters... I've only heard them to be butterbees though

I got the name "sputter" from World of ballpython website under morph list :)
They are spider butter or butter bee :)

It is very common to have variety within a clutch. Nice looking bees!

As for your question, it's pretty normal to have a slight color difference in one clutch.
