Enchi question

For those that are working with Enchis, do you find that a Enchi with a busier pattern (lots of dots) passes that on over a clean one (few to no dots)? Or is it variable like a Pied to Calico? Basically is the exact pattern hereditary? Hopefully that makes sense.

I am looking around at Enchis and I see it hard to find one with zero dots, but I am wondering if it even matters breeding-wise.

Also, anyone seen any super clean 2011 Enchis for sale anywhere?

Mine have been variable...I like ones with busy patterns...

The one thing I see with Enchis is that High Orange ones produce more High Oranges...So personally I look for color over pattern...They must have a lot of Orange for me.

I like the ones with the clean patterns. It would be an interesting project to see if the pattern density is genetic. Makes me wonder how reduced the pattern could eventually get.

Well I bit the bullet and bought a Enchi girl from West Coast Jungle. I will get some pics up in a bit.

This is a good discussion though, since I have not seen the topic come up. I reckon it is important since some folks like their Enchi dirty and some clean.

I look for a clean pattern. An Enchi is a reduced banded snake. That is what I'm after with nice high orange sides as Jon stated. I see dotted enchis like crazy and wouldn't feed them myself. Just not something I'm into. Like I always say it's a helluva lot easier to busy up a pattern than it is to reduce it. Breeding morphs to reduced/banded normal female morphs is exceptionally time consuming. Just my $.02... True no dot Enchis are hard to find. I had a smoking black back zero dot male I traded to Jerry (snakesRkewl). The two females I have both have a really nice reduced pattern but they still have a few dots on each of them. Acceptable, but I'll be holding back anything that looks better when they start to breed and combo. Again, this is just my opinion on the morph. Good luck on the new pickup!

Yeah, to me busy Enchis look like nice Normals. It seems hitting both the reduced pattern AND the brighter color seem to make it pop.

I have yet to get really good pictures of this guy, but he was what I waited over a year to find, and thanks to Brian I finally ended my search for a clean enchi and since he is also a genetic black back double score...

I saw that NERD has a male Genetic BB Enchi, but they are charging NERD price and it is a male. I wanted a female.

I think a Hypo project with your boy would rock.
