    im very green on morphs but...
    im very green on morphs but can someone tell me how morphs started? did the original morphs come from the wild and if so which ones were they?

    Most morphs came from the wild, they are referred to as "base morphs" these are animals with only a single muted gene such as pastels, spiders, albinoes,...

    Then there are "Designer Morphs" also know as Combo or Multi Gene animals. These are combinations of base morphs.. a good example of a Designer Morph is the Bumble Bee, to produce a Bumble Bee you breed a pastel with a spider. 25% of the offspring will be Bumble Bees.


    The list of base morphs from the wild, and man made designer morphs is far too big to list. check out this site, on every individual morphs page it says if it is a base morph or designer morph as well as the genetics and pictures.
