    how old is my ball?
Got my ball at a local pet store and forgot to ask if they knew how old he/she was, I know I wont know exactly, but a general idea would be nice, so my ball weighs 103g, haven't measured length but prolly around 12"-15", let me know wut u think, and thanks!

very young, the pet store wouldn't have known any way. I would say no more than 2 months old

Couple months tops, and you might as well asked the back of your hand how old it is. It would be about the same as asking your average petco/petsmart employee

Definitely very young. Petsmart employees will most likely have no idea how old it is and will throw a random guess at you. :P

When I got my first ball python (at Petsmart) I asked how old it was. they told me a year or two.... she was 70 something grams.

Don't ever listen to Pet store employees as they generally know absolutely nothing about reptiles and the information that they give you is geared toward selling product.

regardless, unless it is a reptile specialty shop chances are they don't know much about snakes. we get a huge number of people on this site who are having issues due to pet store advice that they got.

I'm not trying to bash pet stores or anyone, just trying to make sure that people understand that they need to do their own research (wether it be on this site or else ware) and not just listen to someone who is trying to sell you something... because that is what pet stores do.
